"My name is Brooke, and I am not a nerd."

Brooklyn Sandhu is the third child of Guppy and Fran Sandhu, born 5th November 2012. Her middle names, Apna Kaida, mean 'My own little dragon'. When she is born, Fran says that she promised Guppy at least one Indian middle name - Apna. Her second middle name is a variation of Kate, and is after Kate Barlow. Together, the two middle names are a pun on the word 'Apocalypse', as she was conceived during the Millways allpocalypse.

Brooke, like her older brother fry_sandhu, is very tall (unlike coral_sandhu and Gil, who are both tiny). She is 'plus size' (by her teens, merely chubby as a small child) with dark curly hair and mixed race skin. Brooke has been taller than Coral since she was four. There is no medical reason for Brooke being big, she simply takes after some of her larger relatives.

She is highly intelligent, but hates academia and only studies with any effort for things that produce a grade that counts. This often results in frustrated teachers with minimal effort homework and 100% exam marks. Her real passion is for sports, particularly martial arts and ice hockey.

Unlike her siblings, it is important to Brooke to be popular and cool. However, she doesn't always conform either.

Brooke has no special educational or medical needs, other than being bright and difficult to keep interested. One of Brooke's long-suffering teachers, Miss Brimstone, is periodically convinced that Brooke has ADHD. This is strongly refuted by the school's special educational needs teacher, Mr Irons, who feels that Brooke is perfectly 'normal', aside from being a live wire in a household full of introverts.

Relationship with siblings:
Brooke is heavily influenced by living with her siblings, though she would never admit it.

Fry: Of all her siblings, Brooke gets on least well with Fry, who is four years older than her. However, this is because they are alike in their stubbornness and intelligence. From her tween years, Brooke also sees Fry as a social liability and an embarrassment because of his Asperger's; it is not until she is in her late teens that the two get on better.

Coral: Coral is two years older than Brooke. In personality, Brooke and Coral have less in common, but they get on well as Coral is a natural peacemaker. Though it grieves Coral initially that her little sister is taller than her, Coral always remains quietly defensive of Brooke. In her tween years, Brooke also considers Coral to be a social liability, but since Coral is quiet and keeps out of her way, does not give her the same amount of stick about it as Fry.

Gil: Gil is two years younger than Brooke. As a small child, Brooke is jealous of Gil, and will shove him aside to get what she wants! As he gets older, she likes him better, and sticks up for him, partially because he is younger and partially because she doesn't see his cross dressing and gender exploration as anything to be embarrassed about.

N.b. In MM Mtime+11, Brooke is a year older than she ought to be. All future versions of Brooke are projections from the main timeline and are subject to change. All versions of Brooke may be considered to have the same recollection of memories.
